Ganesh Chaturthi, Mumbai

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, who is considered as the God of wisdom. The most important and interesting day in those 10 days is the last day when the idol is taken out in a colourful and musical procession to be immersed traditionally at a beach. The procession comprises of priests, singers, dancers, acrobats and many spectators. Durga Puja, Kolkata
