Day 01: Delhi to Udaipur (approx. 688 km)

In the morning, travel to Udaipur to meet the rest of your bicycling team. A small sightseeing tour is also offered so you can explore the City of Lakes. In the evening, get introduced to your bikes and also to the guide who will be accompanying you on this cycling expedition in Rajasthan. After a welcome speech, receive a briefing on the upcoming events. Post the briefing, head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh (approx. 75 km | cycling 35 km | drive 40 km)

Post breakfast, take your bicycles and travel to Kumbhalgarh. Enjoy the ride, passing through mesmerising terrain, including some small hills. Riding uphill on gentle slopes may ask for some effort. On reaching the destination, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Rejuvenate for some time, and after a meal travel to Kumbhalgarh Fort. The construction of this 15th-century fortress is credited to Rana Kumbha. This complex has an approximately 36-km long wall, which is believed to be the second longest in the world. After exploring the fort, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Kumbhalgarh – Ranakpur – Ghanerao (approx. 75 km | cycling 35 km | drive 40 km)

After breakfast, leave for Ranakpur and pass through scenic mountainous landscape. Travelling past some villages of the region presents a great opportunity to take a peek into the lives of the local people. On reaching Ranakpur, pay a visit to the famous Jain temple. The amazing architecture of this religious site and the intricate carving exhibited on the walls are worth a sight. After lunch in the village, carry on the ride further to Ghanerao Jungle Lodge, your accommodation for the night. On arrival at the lodge, relish dinner and then go for a peaceful sleep.

Day 04: Ghanerao to Godwad Camps (approx. 45 km | cycling 30 km | drive 15 km)

Post breakfast, continue cycling in Rajasthan by heading towards the Mithdi Dam. Riding on rough, hilly tracks, reach the dam located at the foothills of the Aravalli Range. Day 06: Bhenswara to Luni (approx. 60 km | cycling 40 km | drive 20 km)

Post breakfast, recommence the Rajasthan cycling tour, and start moving towards Luni. Upon arrival at the destination in the evening, a safari may be arranged in the area. If it is your lucky day, you might get to relish the sight of a panther. You may also interact with the people of Rebari – a shepherd community here. Post the safari, head to Fort Chanwa for a dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07: Luni to Jodhpur (approx. 30 km | cycling 30 km)

After a tasty breakfast, start riding towards Jodhpur, and pass through Salawas. Meandering through the regional forests is an experience in itself as you will get to see the local flora and may be the fauna as well. On a good day, you can enjoy the sights of spotted deer, antelopes and black bucks in this area.

Reach Jodhpur, the Sun City by late afternoon and transfer to the hotel. If willing, then you can head out and explore the various attractions this city has to offer. The 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort, overlooking the city of Jodhpur, is worth a visit. After the sightseeing excursion, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

This phase of the jaunt takes you to the Sathin area of Rajasthan. Passing through the Salawas area again, you get another chance to witness the amazing wildlife, which you may have missed previously. Reach your destination and after transferring to the hotel, check-in. If you want, you can explore various sites here like the majestic fort of Sathin Garh, which is worth a trip. Thereafter, return to the hotel for dinner and a rejuvenating sleep.

Day 09: Sathin to Pushkar (approx. 45 km | Cycling 25 km | Drive 20 km)

Now, this wonderful trip takes you from Sathin to Pushkar. Start driving after breakfast and go past some vibrant villages on the way to the destination. Upon reaching the holy town of Pushkar, transfer to the hotel and check-in.

A major highlight of the place is the annual fair organised in October or November. The event, called Pushkar Ka Mela locally, is one of the largest cattle fairs in the world.
