Vikas was still a teenager when he started as a support driver in the Himalayan Rally Team (in the late 80s), driving through Himachal Pradesh and J&K. His association with rallying/driving has continued till date. A wanderer, traveler, aviator and driver, he loves exploring new cultures and going to new places. Vikas has traveled extensively through India, most of Europe, USA, Middle-east and South-east Asia. A qualified pilot from Grand Air Aviation, Michigan, he has flown across the USA and considers traveling, driving and flying as his biggest interests. He has driven across most of North and Western India as well as continental United States and frequently visits Motorsport events across India. His contemporaries include car and bike rally champions like Hari Singh and Rohitaaz Kumar. Occasionally he races motor boats too .

"If they can't see you, they can't catch you" is what I lived by when I started driving my Ford Mustang at crazy speeds in the USA (early 90s). I have slowed down a bit now but my passion for cars, bikes and planes is never ending. I trained to become a private pilot and have been associated with the aviation world for 19 years now! I like to live life on the edge and off-roading, rallying and driving give me a chance to do just that. I have been driving for as long as I can remember and am a part of various groups like Road survivors and various off-roading groups.I have driven on various terrains across the country and have traveled to off-beat places like Afghanistan and Jordan. I find ordinary boring and routine monotonous, hence I often find myself on one adventure trip after another to places I have not explored before .
