More Gurus

I have been climbing, trekking and exploring for the best part of 30 years now. My first trek was in 1983, when I was 14-15 years old - I hiked up to the source of the River Ganges, the Gangotri Glacier in Gaumukh, Uttarakhand. I have led 16 national-level commercial trekking expeditions, and I'm proud to say that I have a 100 percent safety record, with more than 50,000 people having safely trekked under my leadership. I have an insatiable thirst for adventure - besides trekking, I have indulged in skydiving, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, zorbing, off-roading, hot-air ballooning and paragliding, and have also gone on wildlife safaris! I have enjoyed pursuing all these activities, my pursuit depending upon the maturity of mind and bent of mind at the time. I have been fortunate in that my passion for the outdoors has taken me to such places as the Himalayas and the Alps. In fact, outside of India, the Alps have very much been my playground!
