From: Bhopal, IndiaIn my 30-plus years in political and administrative life, I have been honoured to carry out many a public role. Among other duties, I have chaired the Vindhya Educational and Livelihood Trust, a non-profitable organization dedicated to building capacity in the wildlife-tourism sector, besides serving as a member of the State Wildlife Board (Madhya Pradesh) for two terms. I was also member of a committee which was formed to look into 'overcrowding of national parks and sanctuaries in MP', and member of a Tiger Cell established in 1994 to work towards tiger conservation in Madhya Pradesh.
