Bheemeshwari Nature and Adventure Camp has a prime location amidst hills and thick forests. It is an undertaking by the tourism department of the state government of Karnataka. Away from big cities, the calming silence here is only broken by the sound of the water that gushes down the Kaveri River. You may choose accommodation in tented cottages, wooden huts, luxury cottages or in a lone bamboo hut. The resort is a good place for an adventurous time or to just unwind and relax in its tranquil environs. Nature and wildlife lovers should not miss the opportunity to come here as the region and the resort staff have a lot on offer for them. In the region, travellers may spot numerous animals such as crocodiles, snakes, deer, elephants and turtles. Those who like birds are also in luck as the area hosts more than 200 species of winged creatures. However, the animal that the region is most famous for is Mahseer, which is a large tropical fish.

It has loads of popular tourist attractions for you to pay visits to, apart from a buzzing nightlife. Kempegowda International Airport and Bengaluru Railway Station have regular services to and from most of the prominent Indian cities. The other city in Karnataka that you can use as a gateway to the camps is Mysore. It is about 86 km from here, and has numerous peculiar sites to explore.

Bheemeshwari Nature and Adventure Camp has a host of fun activities, which you can enjoy with your family. You can go trekking in the hills, which are not too high. This will be perfect for you if you are a beginner, and will allow you to get some experience in the same. It may come in handy if you ever make plans to undertake more gruelling mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayas. Another plus point here is that the temperature does not drop much, so you do not have to worry about catching cold if you are not wearing warm clothes.
When you are staying on the banks of the river, you should not miss out on a coracle ride. Coracles are hemispherical boats made of interwoven willow rods and barks. Set sail on the Kaveri River, enjoy the scenery, and the ride may also give you a chance to see the famed Mahseer fish.
