Here’s a Women Only trip that will give you a chance to experience winters in one of the most beautiful winter destinations in India – Himachal Pradesh. A 6 day trip that will take you from Chandigarh to Manali, passing through the picturesque towns of Shimla, Kufri and Kullu and also give you the chance to experience activities like Paragliding and Skiing.
Day 01 – Chandigarh - Shimla (140 KM, 4 hrs)
Arrive at Chandigarh Airport at around 1:30 PM and leave for Shimla by road. It is an interesting journey marked with a lot of fun on the way. We reach Shimla by 7:00 PM, check-in to the hotel and relax.
Day 02 – Shimla - Kufri - Shimla
We start the day a little early, have breakfast and head towards Kufri, which is also the winter sports capital of Himachal. Kufri is popular for Skiing and Tobogganing. Post lunch, you visit the very busy and popular Mall Road in Shimla. It’s the perfect place to shop and try out different eateries. You can also visit other places of interest on Mall Road like the Gaiety Theater, Scandal Point, Town Hall, Kali Bari, and The Ridge among others. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 – Kullu - Manali (280 KM, 9hrs)
This day too begins early and post breakfast we leave for the extremely beautiful Kullu Valley, which is famous for its pine and deodar forests and apple orchards. It is located on the banks of the river Beas and the route is speckled with views of snow-capped peaks and gushing rivulets. We take a short break at Pandoh Dam and then move towards Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, which is located in the Parvati Valley. It is here that you can witness a natural hot spring. Post this we check in to the hotel at Manali for overnight stay.
Day 04 – Manali - Solang Valley
Manali is the most sought-after destination in Himachal and it has a lot to offer. Our first stop here is the Hadimba Temple. Built in 1553, this temple is known for its delicately carved doorway and well-crafted 4 tiered pagoda roof. Next on the list is Vashisht which is famous for its sulphur hot springs and temples. Post that we go to Adventure camp and take part in activities like rappelling, rifle shooting, river crossing, archery, Burma bridge etc.
The second half of the day is reserved for the exquisite Solang Valley where the views of glistening snowcapped peaks take your breath away. Solang is a hub for adventure activities like Paragliding, Skiing, zorbing, snow-boarding etc. All this fun is followed by a thrilling ropeway ride to Mount Phatru at 3200 meters. Post this we return to the hotel in Manali for overnight stay.
Day 05 – Manali - Chandigarh (290 km 9 hrs)
Goodbyes are always hard and so is this one!
With all those beautiful memories etched in your hearts, we leave for Chandigarh. It is one of those rare cities in India that combines the best of urban and natural! “Green belts” are a part of the town planning and that makes it unique, beautiful and peaceful to live in.
Post check in, we head out to explore the popular spots of this city like the Sukhna Lake and also Rock Garden if there is enough time. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06 – Chandigarh
Have your breakfast and leave for the airport/train station for your return journey. For everyone’s convenience plan your return journey after 10 AM.
