Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Cochin – Munnar
Arrive at Cochin airport or train station and drive to Munnar (4 hrs). Later check-in to the hotel and spend the day resting or in other leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Munnar
Spend the day sightseeing and visit popular city landmarks like the Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation, Rajmalai, Ervikulam National Park. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 03: Thekkady
Check-out from hotel after breakfast and proceed to Thekkady which is approximately 125 kms (4 hrs) from Munnar. Check-in to the hotel and visit Periyar Wild life sanctuary (extra charge applicable) and later in the day visit the spice plantations and indulge in some shopping. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 04: Madurai
Have your breakfast and check out from hotel to head to Madurai which is around 110 Kms (2hrs) from Thekkady. Later that day check-in to the hotel and go for a city tour of Madurai where you can see Shri. Meenaxi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum etc. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 05: Rameshwaram
After breakfast head to Rameshwaram which is around 175kms (4hrs) from Madurai where you can visit Ramanathaswamy temple and Dhanushukhi temple. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 06: Kanyakumari
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and leave for Kanyakumari which is 300 kms (5-6 hrs) from Madurai. Check in to the hotel and later in the evening go for local sightseeing where where you can visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Kanyakumari beach. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 07: Kovalam
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and head towards Kovalam which is around 75 kms (2 hrs) from Kanyakumari. Check-in to the hotel and enjoy your day at the beautiful Kovalam Beach. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 08: Trivandrum
After breakfast visit Trivandrum which is a 30 minutes’ drive from Kovalam. Visit Lord Vishnu temple (mandatory dress code to enter the temple), Kuthiramalika palace, Zoo, Art Gallery and museum and Shri Pandmanbhaswamy temple and return to Kovalam hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 09: Alleppey / Kumarakom
Have your breakfast and check-out from the hotel to leave for Kumarakom which is around 160 kms (5 hrs) from Thekkady. Later visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and spend your evening marvelling at the beauty of the backwaters from a sunset cruise (extra charge applicable). Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 10: Cochin
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and leave for your journey back home.
