Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati | Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 195 km | 4-5 hours)
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. The drive from Guwahati to Kaziranga will take approximately 4-5 hours. En route, you can stop at local dhabas to enjoy a cup of Assam tea or try some traditional Assamese snacks. Upon reaching Kaziranga, you will check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. Rest and prepare for an exciting day of wildlife exploration in Kaziranga National Park the next day.
A renowned site in India, Kaziranga National Park is known for the conservation of one-horned rhinoceros. The establishment has a diverse landscape, including grasslands, tropical evergreen and semi-evergreen forests. Colonies of tigers, rhinos, deer, dolphins, sloth bears, monkeys and eagles thrive here. On reaching the national park area, transfer to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 02: Wildlife Safari in Kaziranga National Park | Visit Umiam Lake | Transfer to Shillong
Enjoy an early breakfast and experience a thrilling 2-hour jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park, spotting one-horned rhinos and other wildlife. After the safari, check out and drive to Shillong, a scenic 6-7 hour journey. Stop at Umiam Lake for a peaceful boat ride or relaxation by the water. Visit Don Bosco Museum for cultural exhibits, stroll around Ward's Lake, and relax at Lady Hydari Park with its gardens and mini-zoo. Check into your Shillong hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Shillong to Cherrapunji | Elephant Falls, Laitlum Canyons

Day 04: Cherrapunji Sightseeing | Nohkalikai Falls | Arwah Cave | Double Decker Root Bridge
Start with a delicious breakfast in Cherrapunji. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls. Explore Arwah Caves and Mawsmai Caves. See the Single Decker and Double Decker Living Root Bridges. Trek to the Rainbow Falls. Return for an overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
The forests in Meghalaya are well known all over the world for housing single and double decker living root bridges. Locals have used these formations for crossing narrow streams and gaps for centuries.
Day 05: Drive to Dawki | Visit Umngot River | Stop by Shnongpdeng Village
Start your day with a hearty breakfast. Drive to Dawki (around 2.5 hours). Discover the hidden beauty of the "100 Waterfalls," a natural wonder with cascading falls amidst lush greenery. Visit Shnongpdeng Village and Mawlynnong Village, and marvel at the iconic Shnongpdeng Bridge. Explore the breathtaking Umngot River, known for its crystal-clear waters. Delight in a serene boat ride on the river (at your own cost). Unwind with a cosy bonfire and savour a delicious barbecue. Spend the night in well-appointed camps, enjoying a sumptuous dinner.
Situated on the outskirts of Meghalaya, Mawlynnong has become a major attraction in the state. The small village quickly earned fame after it was accorded the status of the cleanest village in Asia in the year 2005. Grasp the quaint charm of the place as you roam through its streets, and later drive to Shillong for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Dawki to Shillong | Visit the India-Bangladesh Border | Explore Phe Phe Waterfall

Day 07: Departure Day | Shillong to Guwahati
