Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Cochin
Reach Cochin via flight or train and check-in to the hotel. Spend the day sightseeing and visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St. Franchise church, Marine Drive. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 02: Munnar
Have your breakfast and check-out from the hotel to head to Munnar which is approximately 150 kms (4hrs). Check-in to the hotel in Munnar and spend the day unwinding. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 03: Munnar
After breakfast head out for a sightseeing tour of Munnar and visit Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation visit, Rajmalai, Ervikulam National Park. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 04: Thekkady
Check-out from the hotel after breakfast and head towards Thekkady which is approximately 125 kms (4 hrs) from Munnar. Later that day check-in to the hotel and visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (extra charge applicable) and also visit the spice plantations and enjoy shopping. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 05: Alleppey/Kumarakom
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kumarakom which is around 141 Kms (4hrs) from Munnar. Later visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Soak in the beauty of the backwaters while enjoying a sunset cruise (extra charge applicable). Return to the hotel late in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 06: Kovalam
Have your breakfast and then check-out from the hotel and leave for Kovalam which is around 170 kms (5hrs) from Alleppey. Later check-in to the hotel and spend the day relaxing on the gorgeous Kovalam beach. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 07: Kovalam
After breakfast visit Trivandrum which is a half hour drive from Kovalam. This city offers a lot of beautiful and historical places of interest to visit, like the Lord Vishnu temple (Mandatory dress code to enter temple), Kuthiramalika palace, Zoo, Art Gallery and museum and Shri Pandmanbhaswamy temple. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 08: Return
After breakfast check-out from the proceed for your return journey home.
