Day 1 : Arrive in Bagdogra and Ride to Gangtok (123 km | 4-5 hrs | 1,650 m)
After reaching Bagdogra, you will meet our representatives at 6:30 in the morning in Siliguri. You will see beautiful and scenic views of nature, picturesque terrains and much more. After exploring a little, you will head towards Gangtok and reach by afternoon. The beauty of Gangtok will ensnare you instantly. You will stay in hotel in Gangtok. Make sure to clear your all permits properly.
Day 2 : Gangtok - Lachen (107 km | 4-5 hrs | 2,750 m)
Today morning, you will start the journey towards Lachen. You will bid goodbye to the beautiful city of Gangtok and embark on a journey to the holy lands of North Sikkim. And did you know this route was also taken by Guru Nanak Dev Ji on his way to North Sikkim. Enroute you will take a halt at Mangan for permits and then proceed towards Chungthang, which is situated at the confluence of the Lachen and Lachung rivers, which combine to form the Teesta River. Then we will leave for Lachen, which also the base for Gurudongmar. The altitude of Lachen is quite high, so you might come across bumpy pathways, and get acclimatize to the high altitude.
Day 3 : Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung (176 km | 7-8 hrs | 2,700 m)
After a scrumptious meal of breakfast in the morning, you will proceed on the journey to explore Sikkim. At first, you will ride to North Sikkim Plateau, on reaching, you can take a dip in Gurudongmar Tso (it will be extremely freezing). Then, after lunch, you will continue on to the journey to Lachung, which is known to be the valley of rhododendron flowers. In the evening, you can spend the rest of the time at your own leisure or visit the Lachung Monastery. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 4 : Lachung - Yumthang Zero Point - Lachung (52 km | 2-3 hrs | 4,572 m)
Today morning, you will embark on the journey to Yumthang Zero Point, where you will be amazed to see loads of snow, crooked pathways and if you get lucky you might even see frozen river or half frozen river, depending on the weather conditions. Also, it will be very cold there, so make sure you wear and carry warm clothes. After lunch, you will come back to Lachung for an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Lachung - Gangtok (102 km | 4-5 hrs | 1,650 m)
Wake up to a beautiful late morning, indulge in a delectable meal, and then head-out to Chungthang, where you must visit Gurudwara, and then proceed towards Gangtok. On reaching in the evening, you can explore the night scenes of Gangtok. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 6 : Gangtok Sightseeing
As soon as the morning unfolds, get ready to explore the beauty city of Sikkim, Gangtok. You can take a trek to Hanuman Tok or spend time at markets, trying local food and buying souvenirs for yourself. Interact with locals, and you will hear amazing stories from them. Day 7 : Gangtok - Nathula - Gnathang (74 km | 2-3 hrs | 4,310 m)
Today morning, after a hearty breakfast, take your belongings and proceed to Gnathang, where your photography skills might come out. Get pictures for your Instagram feed, and then you will move on to pass through Nathu La. Overnight stay at Gnathang.
Day 8 : Gnathang - Zuluk - Gangtok (118 km | 4-5 hrs | 3,048 m)
