ITINERARY

 

Day 1 :  Arrive in Siem Reap

As soon as you are in Siem Reap, make your way to the hotel. After settling your belongings, head out to explore the local markets, and also to savor Cambodian cuisine (Amok, the national dish). Stroll through the streets of Cambodia, where you can find shops selling fashionable clothes, artifacts, souvenirs, fruits, vegetables and much more. Some of such markets are Angkor Night Market, the central market, the Pasar Chas, which is known to be the old market. Later at night, visit a restaurant to have dinner and then relax at your hotel in Siem Reap.

 

Day 2 : Exploration at Angkor Wat Tour

Today morning is special because you will take a tour of Angkor Wat-the world’s largest religious monument, which is brimming with history. There are numerous temples dating back to 9th to 15th century, with beautiful carvings and grandeur architecture which attract a lot of tourists. Angkor Thom boasts of dramatic temples laden with more than 200 Buddha smiling idols. Explore temples like Phinmean Akas, leper King Terrace, elephant terrace and Baphon.

 

After a delectable lunch, make sure you visit Taprom, which was also seen in the famous movie Tomb Raider. At dusk, you will visit the magnificent Angkor Wat temple, after which you will head back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.

 

Day 3 :  Siem Reap to Phnom Penh

Today morning, after a scrumptious breakfast, you will be transferred to a bus to Phnom Penh. The beautiful Cambodian countryside, laden with picturesque farms and villages, will enchant you. It will take you nearly 6 hours to reach in the late afternoon. In the evening, explore the Night Market and Mekong riverside at Phnom Penh. Have dinner in one of the restaurants, then move back to your hotel at Phnom Penh.

 

Day 4 : Exploration of Phnom Penh (City tour)

Today will be an exciting day as you will be exploring Phnom Penh. You will visit the Killing Field and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum to get an insight of Cambodia’s history. After a tasty lunch, you will visit the Royal Palace, Wat Phnom and Independent Monument. As the sun goes down, you will head out for Central Market to roam around and marvel at the intriguing architecture, lip-smacking food and to strike up some bargains with the local sellers. Later in the evening, a food tour to savor some Cambodian delicacies is a must do. Overnight at Phnom Penh.

 

Day 5 : Phnom Phen to Kampot via Kep

As morning light gilds the skies, get ready to see urban side of this country. After breakfast, you will go to Kampot via a private car. Kampot is a happening tourist destination where the accumulation of splendid restaurants, music, bars gives travelers a laid-back vibe. En-route, you will take a halt at Kept where the famous crab market is a must-go place. In evening, chill at the riverside, or go boating at sunset, taking in the view of hills, forests and fields. If you get lucky, you might even see thousands of fireflies when your boat stops. In the later evening head-back to Kampot for a luscious dinner. Overnight in Kampot.

 

Day 6 : Kampot to Sihanoukville

Today morning, after a scrumptious meal of breakfast, you will leave for Sihanoukville, where on the way you will visit the waterfall. Sihanoukville in Cambodia features the best white sand beaches bestowed with a stunning coastline. After that explore the striking beaches of Ocheuteal and Independence, and in the evening visit the most beautiful beach of Cambodia. Otres. To have a good night life, spend time at one of the pubs, bars or casinos nestled at the beaches. Overnight at Sihanoukville.

 

Day 7 : Sihanoukville

Get up in the morning, and get ready to leave for Phnom Penh. After breakfast you will move out of the city and will reach in the late afternoon. On reaching, in the evening visit the riverside and later head-out to have some fun time in the night market. Overnight at Phnom Phen.

 

Day 8 : Departure

In the morning, after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport as per your flight timings.
