MONTHS OF SAILING
The months of operation are from October to May and we are closed from June to September due to Monsoon.

IDEAL TIME TO SAIL
Due to suitable wind conditions, we take you sailing in the afternoon. Afternoon to sunset sailing gives a great experience. These timings are also dependent on tides and waves. We recommend taking to open waters only after 11:00 AM TILL 5:00 PM.

OUR INSTRUCTORS/ TEAM
We have a team of highly-skilled, experienced and professional instructors of mixed nationalities, who are certified in sailing and have sailed in international waters. These are the people who have been doing this for years and are passionate about introducing more and more people to this joyful activity. The team is also trained in first aid and rescue.

WHAT IF I AM NOT A GOOD SWIMMER
Being a swimmer does not come as an added advantage while sailing. We provide you with life jackets and you must wear it at all times while sailing.

SAFETY ON WATER
We are equipped with all that you need for a relaxed, enjoyable and SAFE sailing experience. From life jackets to buoyancy aids and rescue boats, we have it all. We have doctors on call and the team is first aid trained.

DO I NEED TO HAVE SAILED BEFORE
You do not require a prior sailing experience. Our instructors would love to have the opportunity to acquaint you to this fun activity.

FITNESS LEVEL
Sailing is not a physically demanding activity so a basic level of fitness is what is required. People of all age groups have experienced sailing with us. We do expect you to inform us about any medical conditions, ailments or allergies that might prove to be a hindrance or a cause for concern.

AGE RESTRICTION
People from different age groups, from senior citizens to toddlers have sailed with us. We might recommend different programs for different age groups. For instance, dinghy sailing can be started at the age of 7.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR HARBOUR SAILING AND BEACH SAILING
The harbour sailing experience usually does not involve getting wet, except for occasional water spray or wave splash. If this is not something that concerns you, then you need not carry a change of clothes.
Beach sailing will leave you soaked so bring one full change of clothes or two, including small clothes. Remember to carry a towel and personal toiletries.

Sailing is a relaxing activity, we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and allow ease of movement. Cotton shorts, capris paired with T-shirts would make for a good option. For beach sailing, you could opt for a swimwear. Wear footwear that is light and comfortable. No heels, please!
Glasses - If you wear glasses make sure you have a retainer (provided on-board)
Sunglasses – Remember to carry sunglasses and a cap for protection; use retainers for the sunglasses (provided on-board)
Sunscreen - Carry and use sunscreen (we also provide the same on the sail)
Medication - Please carry your medication if required

WHAT NOT TO BRING
Although we provide basic storage facility, we advise not bringing anything extra. You can carry your mobile phones, cameras etc. but no valuables. We have secure storage spaces at all our centres, and you can keep your valuables there.
Smoking or consumption of alcohol is prohibited on-board any of our boats and at the centres.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER SAFETY ASPECTS
You are required to fill indemnity and medical forms before sailing. All our centres are audited independently and all safety requirements are met with.
We have tie-ups with ambulance service and hospitals, and we have doctors on call at all our locations. In addition to this, our operations team is first aid trained and certified. We adhere to all the international safety standards.
Our boats, as well as equipment, are fully insured and our guests are also covered by third party insurance while undertaking any of our programs.
