ITINERARY:
DAY 01: GUWAHATI - MANAS NATIONAL PARK (178 KMS- 4 HOURS)
Arrive at Guwahati airport on your own and drive to Manas National Park. Reach the Manas Park on banks of River Manas. After arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the day at leisure.
DAY 02: MANAS NATIONAL PARK
Have an early breakfast and leave for jeep safari. Admire the beautiful point of Manas National Park - Mathanguri. The best way to explore the wildlife of Manas National Park is by jeep safari. Visit community villages living in the outskirts of the national park, and observe their sustainable lifestyles.
An incredible chance to witness many wild species; among which common are elephants, deer, and leopards and if lucky, you might spot a tiger. Reach the hotel by evening and stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 03: MANAS NATIONAL PARK - GUWAHATI
After breakfast checkout and drive back to Guwahati. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple which is situated at the top of Nilachal Hill at about 800 feet above the sea level. Kamakhya temple is perhaps the most important tourist attraction in Guwahati. It is famous as one of the most significant pilgrimage spots in India. There are many other temples in the complex apart from the main Devi Temple. Later visit Sankardev Kalakhetra. It is very famous among the history loves. It represents the culture and tradition of the state. Later visit the Lalit-Kala Bhavan art gallery where exhibitions, art and sculpture workshops are held. Return to the hotel and have your dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 04: GUWAHATI AIRPORT
After breakfast check out and leave for airport to continue your further journey.
