Detail Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrive in Guwahati
Arrive in Guwahati from where this exciting bike trip will start. Check into your hotel, freshen up and take rest. A quick briefing by the Group Captain will follow.
Day 2 : Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park (195 KMS)
After a briefing about the challenges, dos and don’ts and other safety measures, you will embark on the trip to Kaziranga National Park. You will cruise through smooth highway and will stay for overnight at Kaziranga National Park.
Day 3 : Kaziranga National Park To Bomdila (205 Kms)
In the morning if you wish you can enjoy the Jungle Safari. After a great meal of breakfast, you will embark on the bike ride to Bomdila.
Day 4 : Bomdila To Tawang (176 Kms)
Today morning, you will continue to journey to Tawang, which is 176 km from Bomdila. You will zoom through curvy roads, stunning mountains taking in the majestic view. Click pictures of beautiful roads, mountains and landscape you see while riding. On reaching, check-in at your hotel to get refresh. After refreshing up, you will be served with tea/coffee. Stay comfortable overnight in Tawang, as in the next morning you will ride to Bum La Pas.
Day 5 : Tawang-Bum La Pass-Tawang (100 km | 3-4 hrs)
In the morning, after breakfast, you will start the trip to the most beautiful and adventurous Bum La Pass which is located at Indo-China border at 16,500 ft and then will proceed to Tawang. Make sure to carry warm clothes, as this place will be drenched in snow. On the way you will come across beautiful lakes, Heart Lake, P.T. Tso, and Sangetsur Lake. On reaching, you will check-in at the hotel in Tawang. Spend your evening at exploration of the markets where you can buy some souvenirs for a lifetime memories.
Day 6 : Tawang Local Sightseeing
This day is all set for exploring the city of Tawang. In the morning, after breakfast, head out to visit the largest monastery in India, Tawang monastery, it is also the second largest monastery in the world. Further, you will visit Urgelling Monastery which is the birthplace of 6th Dalai Lama, born as Lama (born Tsangyang Gyatso). After visiting monasteries, you will be amazed to see Chakzam village, which also houses 560 years old man-made iron wires hanging bridge. In the evening, watch the sound shows of War memorial of Tawang. In the later evening, head back to hotel and relax in your room.
Day 7 : Tawang to Dirang (135 km | 4-5 hrs)
Today you will leave behind the beautiful city of Tawanga and proceed to ride towards Dirang. You will be thrilled and happy to visit Jung waterfall on the way. The fall of water is from a height of 100 m, making the view even more worthy. Carry your cameras, as the ride will also take you to Apple and Kiwi gardens and Kameng River. Your camps will be pitched alongside the river, making the experience wonderful. Indulge with your friends, and get local drinks and bonfire at night.
Day 8 : Dirang to Guwahati (380 km)
Today is the final day of your tour and you will be riding back to Guwahati. You will ride for 275 km which will include both mountainous roads and plain roads. On reaching, you will check-in at the hotel and get ready as you will get certificates to have a lifetime memory cherished. Bid adieu to other riders and after that you can have the rest of the time at your own leisure.
