Nestled near Tumkur- a mere hundred kilometres drive from Bangalore, Chennarayana Durga is a hill station, good for rock-climbing and trekking. Built by the lesser known King of Madhugiri, the fort was later handed over to the clever Marathas.

Day 1 : Arrive in Bangalore
On arrival in Bangalore, assemble at the pickup point on a scheduled time given by the trip leader, from where you will be transferred to the base camp of your trek. On the way, you will be served with delicious breakfast. On reaching the campsite at around 10:00 am, keep your belongings and after a little rest, head-out to begin your trek. Your trek will begin at 10:30 am and by 1:00 you will reach the top-most point. After having lunch at the pinnacle, you will descend back to the base that will take around 1-hour to reach. On reaching the base by 3:30 pm, your return journey to Bangalore will start by 4:00 pm.
