Naggar to Manali Snow Trek will start from Naggar, which lies to the north of Rohtang Pass. It’s the most lively and charming village in the valley. Most of the treks start from here. Naggar was once the capital of Kullu valley. You will trek to Rumsu base camp, Pulag village and Chichoga Village where you can get the views of Dhauladhar ranges - Deo Tibba and Malana Glen. The villages are inhabited by locals of Kullu Valley and are untouched by tourists. You will visit the verdant Sterling forest that has Cheddar, Magnolia, Oak and Pine trees. Day 01: Naggar - Rumsu Base Camp
Reach Rumsu base Camp on your own from where the Snow trek will start. Check in to the homestay and freshen up. After the breakfast, trek to nearby naggar village. Complete all your formalities after reaching Rumsu Base Camp. After lunch you will be briefed about the trek and introduced to other trekkers. Have dinner and stay overnight at Rumsu home stay.
Day 2: Rumsu Base Camp - Pulag Village - Chichogi Village - Rumsu Base Camp
After breakfast, start your trek to Pulag village. Pulag is a beautiful village with not more than 150-200 wooden houses. It lies between the Hallan River and Pulgar River. The natural beauty of the place will take your breath away. Explore the culture of the village by interacting with the locals. Return to Rumsu Base Camp and have your lunch. Trek to Chichogi Village for an evening walk. It is an amazing experience to walk on the snow as the sun is setting. Return to the base camp and have dinner. Overnight stay at the Rumsu home stay.
Day 3: Rumsu Base Camp - Sterling jungle - Rumsu Base Camp
Have your breakfast with the majestic sunrise. Later start trekking to Sterling forest. The lush green forest is covered with Pine, Fir, Oak and chestnut trees. The whole place will be covered with snow. You can take the Gum boots from the base camp so that you can trek easily upwards on the snow. While coming back, it will be fun sliding on the snow. Reach Rumsu Base camp by the evening and enjoy some hot snacks. Have dinner and stay overnight at Rumsu home stay.
Day 4: Rumsu Base Camp - Manali
Travel to Manali on your and explore the town and places around it. You can visit Old Manali, Monastery, Hadimba Temple, Nature Park and also the mall road where you could indulge in shopping. Your Naggar to Manali Snow Trek concludes here.
