Escape from the city and find an adventure around Bangalore. The best part about the city is that you can find a lot of options to spend your weekends. Nishani Motte Trek in Coorg is one of the best ways to explore the natural beauty of Karnataka. Coorg is famous for its aromatic coffee and on this trek you will have the opportunity to trek through rolling estates by the old bungalows of coffee planters.
Take the less travelled trail on a weekend and trek to Nishani Motte Peak. The lesser known weekend getaway from Bangalore is all you need to relax and revive. Nishani Motte is situated in the Brahmagiri Range of hills in the stretch between Talacauvery down to Somamale. Plunge into the wild forest of Bhagamandala, through lush green paddy fields, coffee estates, and finally reach the peak. The view of the hills surrounded by infinite verdant valleys will leave you spellbound! Monsoons get difficult here, as the pathway gets filled with leeches and makes it difficult to climb.
Take in the beauty of the amazing vistas of mountains of Kerala and Karnataka from the top. The gradually steep trek will get your adrenaline pumping. The soothing cool climate, the clouds touching your face and the fresh air will help you unwind. What can be better than ending your trek with a fresh cup of hot coffee! You will have an unforgettable experience of camping under the sky in the wild. Visit Abbey Falls and lose yourself in the natural glory of the place.
