Itinerary:

Day 1: Panvel - Thakurwadi - Prabalmachi
Arrive at Panvel railway station at 6:15 pm and meet the trekking team. Afterward, head towards Thakurwadi, a village in the Palghar district of Maharashtra, through the available local transport. You will reach the base village at 7:00 pm. After a brief introduction, get ready for a thrilling Prabalmachi Fireflies Trek. Prabalmachi is a quaint little village, located off the old Mumbai-Pune highway, hidden among the beautiful hills. Picturesque views of Prabalgad and Kalavantin at Prabalmachi, along with scenic outskirts of Panvel, make this trek one-of-a-kind. Reach Prabalmachi at 8:30 pm and freshen up at the camp. If you are a nature lover, then the beauty of the hill will enthrall your heart, as soon as you get here. Be it the starry sky, the location, or the weather, this is the place to be. Enjoy local cuisine for dinner at 9:00 pm. You can relax at the campsite for some time after the dinner. At 10:00 pm, head out to spot fireflies and capture the beauty in your camera. Afterward, you can return to the campsite and retire for the day.

Day 2: Prabalmachi - Thakurwadi - Panvel
On day two, you will get a wake-up call at 7:00 am, and you can get ready for the return journey. At 8:30 am, after the breakfast, begin descending from Prabalmachi. This journey through the hillside, with fresh air and beautiful weather for a company, will be as beautiful as it can be. Once you reach the Thakurwadi village at 10:00 am, use the local transport for getting to Panvel Railway Station. You will reach Panvel station at 11:00 am, and you can catch your respective local trains to get back home with some wonderful memories from the trip.
