Itinerary
Day 1: Going on a one-day monsoon trek to Prabalmachi
The exciting journey will begin after your arrival at the Karjat railway station. Begin your onward journey to the base village, which is the starting point for Prabalmachi trek in Maharashtra, where you can have a scrumptious breakfast.
The journey to having a magical trekking experience will start after your arrival at Panvel railway station at around 7:30 a.m. After an appetizing breakfast, the one hour journey towards the base village will begin at around 9:00 a.m. On reaching the base village, you will be given a brief introduction regarding the terrain, weather, flora and fauna of the Prabalmachi monsoon trek. After listening to the entire introduction, you will be given proper instructions about the do’s and don’ts during the trek.
The trek towards the Prabalmachi village will begin at 11:00 a.m. After ascending for one and a half hour, trekkers will be reaching Prabalmachi at around 1:00 p.m. After traversing beautiful views from the village for an hour, trekkers can have lunch. After having a nice time at Prabalmachi, you can start descending at around 4:00 p.m. Around an hour later, you will be reaching the base. From the base camp, trekkers can departure at 5:30 pm and reach Panvel railway station at around 6:30 p.m. Travellers can now have a proper night sleep by reaching back to Mumbai at around 8:00 p.m.

Monsoon Safety Measures

- Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.
- Dear Trikoners, always remember SHOES are your best companion on a trek! Please wear a good pair of TREKKING SHOES and not sports or running shoes. Make sure they are durable and firm enough to withstand tough conditions. You can carry floaters to wear only after the trek is completed. Fitness & Health:
Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
