Rajmachi (Udhewadi) is a lovely small town in the Sahyadri Mountain range of Maharashtra, India. Rajmachi Fort is a historic fort situated close to the hill stations of Lonavala and Khandala, standing at a height of 2710 feet. There is also a place near the Kal Bhairava temple which is used as a campsite by some trekkers. A few meters away is a water tank which serves as a water reservoir to thirsty travelers.

Day 1: Lonavala - Tugarli Dam
Meet the team at the Lonavala station by 4:00 pm. After having delicious evening snacks, head to Tungarli Dam at the Tungarli Lake, which is around 2.7 km via local transport. It is a beautiful, calm location with picturesque views and is a great spot for a peaceful getaway as well as for trekking. On reaching the dam, start trekking amidst the dense forest, accompanied by beautiful glowing fireflies. After a wonderful trek, get to the base village and have a good night’s rest.
Day 2: Tugarli Dam - Lonavala
On the next beautiful morning, freshen up and get ready by 6:30 am for an exciting day. Start off with a trek to Shrivardhan Fort and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding waterfalls, palaces, lakes, and mountains. Then, get back to the base village for a scrumptious and filling breakfast. Rest for a while and slowly descend towards Tungarli Dam.
