Itinerary :
Day 01 Arrival in Srinagar
On landing at the Srinagar Airport, and get transferred to the pre-booked houseboat on your own for an overnight stay in Srinagar. In the evening, our tour captain will give you a little brief about the ride, itinerary. You can also go for a tranquil ride on the Shikara at Dal Lake with views from Houseboats for 1 hour (4Pax in 1 Shikara).Post-ride visit Carpet Factory & Shopping at Dal Lake
Day 02 Srinagar to Kargil
After breakfast, ride to Kargil, the main battleground during the Kargil war 1999.En route,you will meander through the thrilling Zojila pass and DrasSonamarg(Meadow of Gold), Cross Zojila pass Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited Place in the World). Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil War Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) and reach Kargil by evening.
Day 03 Kargil to Leh
After a heart breakfast leave for Leh, and visit Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru, the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and Moon Landscape.
Day 04 Leh Rest and shopping
On reaching, spend the day at leisure or set off to explore the unique city of Leh. If time allows, meet the locals, visit the beautiful Leh Palace, Shey Palace and War memorial, take a stroll in the Leh market and discover the old and beautiful monasteries of Leh.
Day 05 Leh to Nubra
Today, you will drive on the highest motorable pass in the world – Khardung-La - at 18,380 feet. In spite of the altitude, the roads are one of the smoothest roads you’ve ever driven on. The magestic landscape will leave you speechless. After crossing Khalsar and Diskit, you will enter in the fascinating magical sand dunes of Nubra valley.
Day 06 Nubra to Turtuk to Nubra
After breakfast drive to Turtuk which is a place captured by Indians in the war of 1972 with Pakistan, and also visit Tyakshi (border which divides India and Pakistan),and reach Hunder by evening.
Day 07 Nubra to Pangong
Today morning, you will leave behind the stark region and move towards the pristine Pangong Lake. Enroute you will pass through Shyok village, which has been recently open for the tourists. On reaching the shores of this enchanting water body, take in its beauty and tranquillity, and capture photos of the realm.Later, transfer to the campsite for a warming bonfire and a peaceful overnight stay in the lap of nature.
Day 08 Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri
Drive to Tsomoriri Lake. It is a breathtaking journey on a trail that is literally a ‘no mans’ land. Vast lonely stretches on the Chanthang plateau makes this drive one of the best-isolated drives of this tour. En route, visit the faraway settlement of Chusul. Tsomoriri is situated at an altitude of 4511m above sea level; with an area of about 140 Sq.km. Spend your evening watching shadows of the surrounding mountain and the varying depths of Tsomoriri lake.
Day 09 Tso Moriri to Jispa
Leave for Jispa, after enjoying the breakfast. Cross the high passes. Say goodbye to the beauty of Ladakh and drive along the curvy roads to Himachal Pradesh.
Day 10 Jispa to Manali Wake up to a beautiful sunrise in Jispa valley and have breakfast in the tent. After breakfast, start riding towards Manali. This is the last day of your Srinagarto Manali Trip via Ladakh, passing through the magnificent and iconic Rohtang Pass and some of the most scenic villages of Lahaul Vally. In the evening, you will reach Manali to stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 Manali out As soon as the morning unfolds, get ready as today will be the last day of your Srinagar to Manali RoadTrip. After a hearty meal of breakfast, you can explore Manali at your own leisure and by evening report back by4:00 pm to board the Volvo bus to Delhi for an overnight journey.
