Day wise program
Day 0
Board your Volvo coach from Delhi to travel to Shimla
Day 1
Arrival at Shimla and transfer to resort at Kufri; acclimatization (Options for trek or walk)
Day 2
An easy off-road riding with a minor elevation change. Perfect for easy and quick start to have an idea of real mountain biking
Route Details: Kufri - Bhekhalti - Kufri (Via Hip-Hip Hurray)
Distance: 25 KM approx
Elevation gain: 200 - 500 mts approx
Off-road: 70%
Difficulty level: Easy
Best part: Flat and beautiful off-road, Downhill and gradual uphill, Scenic views of greater Himalaya, Ride through pine forest.
Day 3
One step up from the newbie rider. Here, you start pushing your bike a bit and look for more air into your lungs. You end up tired when the ride finishes.
Route Details: Shimla Water Catchment area
Distance: 28 kms
Elevation gain: 500 - 800 mts approx
Off-road : 80%
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Best part: Riding in Asia’s densest forest (Hassan Valley), Flat and beautiful off-road through deep forest, river streams, wooden bridges. Scenic views of greater Himalaya and dense forest around. Chances of spotting wildlife.
