ITINERARY:

DAY 01:

You will depart from Priya Cinema near Deshapriya Park located in South Kolkata at 8:00 AM and arrive at Godkhali by 12:00 noon. Take a break and have some snacks at Godkhali. Start your scenic cruise to the beautiful Sunderbans at 12:30 PM. You can enjoy tea/coffee offered during the journey. Arrive at Sunderbans Tiger Camp by 1:30- 2:00 PM. The Resort is located opposite the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve Forest. Check in at the hotel, take rest for some time, and then have your delicious lunch.

Later proceed to Sajnekhali Tiger Project area at about 3:30 PM by boat to visit Mangroves Interpretation center, Sajnekhali Museum and Watch Tower. Return to Sunderbans Tiger Camp by 5:30 PM. Enjoy your evening snacks with tea and beautiful view from the Watch Tower. Also enjoy the folk dance by local artists, wildlife movie and bonfire (during winter seasons only). At 8.00 PM, have your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02:

Wake up to the sounds of the chirping birds early in the morning at 6:30 AM and enjoy a hot tea in the hotel. At 7.15 AM leave for the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower, and then cruise through narrow creeks and rivers of Pitchkhali – Sudhanokhali – Sarakhkhali - Bonobibi Dharani. In between, enjoy your breakfast on boat. Later visit the Watch Tower and cruise around the island of Sundarbans Tiger Project Area and if you get lucky you might spot the mighty Royal Bengal Tiger. By 10:00 AM return to Sundarbans Tiger Camp. Have your lunch by 11:00 AM and then depart for Godkhali by boat. You will reach Kolkata by 6:30 PM in the evening.
