Located in the heart of thick forests, Infinity Kanha Wilderness offer its guests an opportunity of living close to nature. Situated on the banks of Jamunia River, and surrounded by bamboo groves and mahua trees, the resort offers comfortable lodgings. The jungle lodge, which is located near the Mukki Lake, is spread over an area of 24 acres.
It houses 10 villas and 10 tents, which include all basic amenities that are required by guests. The main building of Infinity Kanha Wilderness also has a well-equipped gymnasium, on-site Ayurvedic spa. A special conference room, armed with a LCD projector, flip-charts, microphones and other stationery items has been provided for holding meetings and seminars.
A Wildlife Camp at Infinity Kanha Wilderness is something you would never like to miss. Kanha National Park, which is located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, is among the finest tiger reserves in India. Stunning landscapes and dense forests are the major attractions here. The enchanting views of the park offer something new every time you see them, and the picturesque beauty of the area compels you to take photographs. Apart from tigers and barasingha, the reserve is home to 43 more species of mammals including leopards and wild dogs. In addition to them, the region is also home to more than 300 species of birds, which include scavengers like vultures.
A sightseeing tour of Kanha National Park takes you to the world of lush greenery and enchanting wild creatures. There are two types of safaris available here: Jeep and elephant. The safaris are conducted twice a day: in the morning and in the afternoon. All Jeeps have 4X4 transmission and raised seats, giving travellers a good viewing spot. During such trips, you will get to visit a museum, which has a treasure of information on the tribes of the region and about their cultures. Apart from the museum, another event that you will be a part of is Tiger Show, which is conducted by the villagers to make visitors watch tigers. For your safety, you will watch them while seated on elephant backs. Tribals and villagers are completely involved with national park and provide great hospitality to guests. You will also be treated to tribal music and dance performance as a means of entertainment.
How to Reach:
By Road:
The distance from Jabalpur to the resort is 193 km approximately, which will take three hours via National Highway 12A. Private bus services are easily available on this route, especially from Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. If you directly want to visit the place from Delhi, you will have to take NH 26.
By Rail:
The nearest railway stations for boarding the train from Kanha National Park are in Jabalpur and Gondia. Jabalpur railway station is approximately a three-and-a-half hour road journey from the wildlife reserve. Gondia Railway Station is at a distance of roughly 122 km from here, and it takes two hours to reach here.
By Air:
The nearest airport to the resort is the Jabalpur Airport, which is located 204 km away from the resort. The other two airports, which are near to the establishment, are in Raipur and Nagpur. They are at a distance of 227 and 255 km from the property, respectively.
