If thrill and adventure are on your mind, then bungy jumping in Rishikesh is one thing that should interest you instantly. The adrenaline rush that this adventure sport promises is second to none. This bungee jumping site has been designed and set up by a New Zealander – David Allardice. The instructors at this place are flown in from New Zealand to man the jumps. Before you do this daredevil stunt, you would be properly trained by these instructors. You would be given proper equipment and assistance in getting ready for the jump. Before you attempt this stunt, you will be asked get into the bungee jumping gear. Your feet will be attached to a long elastic cord (made of latex rubber), which will also be connected to your jumping gear. Once this is done, all you got to do is admire the surrounding environs; the flowing Ganga below and take a deep breath before you make the jump that you have been waiting for, on this Rishikesh trip. After the jaw-dropping, 83-metre jump, walk to the cafeteria and watch your jumping video and photographs.
There are certain requirements for Rishikesh bungee jumping including minimum age of 12 years on the day of the activity, along with minimum and maximum weight of 35 kg and 110 kg, respectively.

Jump Zone Location
The jump zone for this activity is located near the village of Monhanchatti, which lies about 15 km from the famous Lakshman Jhula. You can avail local transport facility to reach this site from the town of Rishikesh. If you are coming in your own vehicle, then you can directly drive to the site.
How to Reach Rishikesh
Closest Airport – Dehradun Airport (about 27 km away)
Closest Railway Station – Haridwar Railway Station (about 25 km away)
You can avail local taxi or bus service to reach the town from Dehradun Airport and Haridwar Railway Station.
Another option to reach the town is from the national capital.
By road from New Delhi – 230 km (about 4 hours 30 minutes via NH 58; however, traffic snarls along the way could increase this duration.)
