The trek to Lohagad Fort, a hilltop fortress built by the Marathas, begins from a village, known as Bhaje. You reach the fortress after walking through thickly forested hills and climbing a staircase. From the fort, a panoramic view of valleys and other hills in the area will be delightful. This is the point, where your camera should be doing all the work. Following the trek, you go on a cycling trip in the mountains. Take in the freshness of the country air and ride through the lush valleys.
The next day, you will enjoy a thrilling session of Dudhiware Waterfall rappelling. Before you descend the almost-vertical cliff, you will be briefed on the activity, risks and techniques by an experienced tour guide. You will then be fastened on to strong safety ropes so that any mishap or injury can be avoided. Then, all you have to do is look at the surroundings, take a deep breath, lay almost perpendicular to the cliff and push yourself away to start rappelling. This trip will also treat you to a local lunch in a village, where you will also have the chance to talk to the natives.
