A wildlife safari at Corbett National Park is something that you should definitely avail while you are in Uttarakhand. The territory spreads over 520 sq km and comprises thick jungles, marshes and flat grasslands. Numerous rivers and streams flow through here. The reserve also has a large lake, acting as an important source of water for animals. There are reports that claim the total species of plants and trees here to be over 600. The most prominent wild creatures to make the region their home are tigers and elephants. Apart from these, leopards, several species of cats and deer, black bear, crocodile, gharial and many other animals can be spotted here.

When searching for comfortable and luxurious lodgings near Jim Corbett National Park, look no further than Tiger Camp. It is located away from cities and is surrounded by thickly forested foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, making it perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay. Tiger Camp in Corbett National Park offers accommodation in Standard Cottages, Deluxe Cottages and Superior Cottages. The Superior Cottages are like full-fledged houses with 4 air-conditioned rooms. They are perfect for families, and you may book as many out of the 4 rooms as you desire.

Similar in décor to the Superior Cottages, the Deluxe Cottages have three separate areas for you to sit and look around. You may sit in a closed balcony of sorts with large windows and sofas, on the open front porch or on the shaded, but open terrace. Additionally, all rooms and cottages have spacious bathrooms with dim lighting, showers, bathtubs and racks for keeping towels, and western-style toilets. The common dining hall of Tiger Camp in Corbett National Park, named Gol Ghar, has a proper eating area and an open barbecue section.

Recreational services and amenities offered here include massages and therapies at the spa, and the on-site swimming pool. Before heading out on a wildlife safari at Corbett National Park, you may watch animal documentaries in the common TV area. The Jeep safaris are 3-4 hours long, and they will be overseen by experienced naturalists, who will accompany you on the expedition. You may also travel on the backs of elephants for a higher vantage point to view the wildlife of the region. The establishment also organises trekking excursions through the Himalayan foothills in the area, and you may pick them for a rejuvenating experience. Fishing in the rivers and lake is also a fun activity, but remember that the fish has to be released after being caught.
